The two logistics buildings at the Tikkurilantie 140 property in Vantaa next to the airport were transferred to Aktiivitilat’s investment portfolio.
Tikkurilantie 140 in Vantaa is Aktiivitilat’s latest investment. The property consists of two separate buildings completed in 1999 and a total of 11,242 square meters of leasable area.
The leasing situation at Tikkurilantie 140 provides an opportunity for property development, which was the key reason for Aktiivitilat’s investment.
“One of the buildings will become vacant at the turn of the year, so a rapid leasing campaign lies ahead of us,” comments Aktiivitilat CEO and partner Jukka Torvinen.
“Leasing is our core expertise, and with a high-quality logistics building in this location we believe we will find excellent users,” continues Torvinen.
“Loading docks, good yard areas, drive-through capability, cross-flow, ceiling height, floor load-bearing capacity and the property’s other characteristics make the building highly leasable, but the excellent location makes it desirable.”
“The other building is leased for food production, and as it has been customized for that use, we believe the operations will continue there in the future as well,” states Torvinen.
The seller of the property is Ilmarinen, whose portfolio manager Kenneth Nyman is pleased with the successful transaction.
“In our portfolio we focus on different types of assets, and transferring a property requiring significant development to Aktiivitilat was the right solution for both parties,” says Nyman.
